SEAN CAISSE TO RUN FOR MACDONALD MOTORSPORTS THIS SATURDAY IN THE NASCAR K&N PRO SERIES RACE AT BOWMAN GRAY STADIUM

(MOORESVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA) May 31, 2012 – Pelham, New Hampshire driver Sean Caisse will make his first start in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East in almost two years this Saturday night at Bowman Gray Stadium. The 26 year old will be behind the wheel of the MacDonald Motorsports No. 49 Dodge Charger in what will be the fifth K&N Pro Series race of 2012.
“Randy and I have had a lot of discussions in the past about getting me into one of his cars but it has never all came together until now,” explained Caisse. “I’ve never been to Bowman Gray before but I’m sure it’s going to be a lot of the normal short track beating and banging. I’m so pumped to get back into a racecar and I’m going there with one goal in mind, to bring home the trophy.”
In 40 career starts in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series for Sean, he has racked up a very impressive resume. Caisse has seven wins, 12 poles, 16 top-fives and 24 top-tens. In 2006 and 2007 running for Andy Santerre, Sean finished second in the final driver’s standings both seasons.
Bowman Gray Stadium, located in Winston-Salem, NC, is a track with an incredible history in racing. “The Madhouse,” is NASCAR’s first weekly track that started racing way back in 1949 with Bill France Sr. and Alvin Hawkins. A win at Bowman Gray would put you in the company of some of the greatest drivers of all time. Glen Wood, Richard Petty, Junior Johnson, David Pearson, and Bobby Allison have all won multiple Sprint Cup Series races at the Stadium in the past.
The NASCAR Hall of Fame 150 will take the green flag at 8:00PM EST from the famed Bowman Gray Stadium this Saturday night. Come out and watch what promises to be one of the most exciting races on the season and cheer on Caisse as he goes for his eighth win of his K&N Pro Series career.
